Review

The product claims to help prevent acne along with curing skin problems. This product has been doing rounds for a very long time. One of the biggest benefits of this cream is that it is completely ayurvedic thus making it beneficial to the skin. The cream has a sandalwood oil kind of fragrance that is pleasant and not something that will irritate people with a sensitive nose.

The cream stays on the skin for a long time and gives a matte kind of finish. However, if used too much, the cream is thick and is very difficult to blend in with the skin. After the application, it somewhat leaves your skin a bit dry and gives it a yellowish look. Hence, it is advised to use a very less amount on your skin. Also, it should be massaged quickly to get it absorbed into the skin soon and get rid of any patchiness and get a matte finish.

The product contains sandalwood oil. Sandalwood has many benefits for the skin like anti-tanning, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging property and so much more. Turmeric is effective in the treatment of acne due to its antiseptic and antibacterial properties that fight pimples and breakouts to provide a youthful glow to your skin. Turmeric not only helps to clear acne scars and inflammation but also reduces the oil secretion by the sebaceous glands.

The cream does reduce your pimples, blemishes, and inflammation. It also helps in decreasing the visibility of the scars and dark spots. It also helped me get an even skin tone. But to see continued results, it is very important to use this product daily. I say this because, I missed applying this product for a few months when I was on a trip, and my skin was back to how it was before with acne breakouts.

The best thing is that the product is easily available in any medical store, Kirana store, or in the supermarket. I love using this product as a night cream. I personally have not experienced any side effects from using this product. You may not experience the results right away. It may take some time.

One of the key ingredients in products these days is SPF and this product misses this feature. Also, if you are allergic to turmeric, this product may not be the one for you. Different people/skin types may react differently to this product. If you have deep scars or bad acne, this product may or may not be effective on your skin. The product has a non-oily based formula and thus maybe not suitable for people with dry skin. Also, I recommend that this shouldn't be used in winter.
