About Flawsome Felishia
Hi, I’m Felicia — writer, teacher, and your quiet internet companion in self-care, self-growth, and intentional living.
I created Flawsome Felishia as a space for women who are tired of rushing, performing, and pretending they have it all figured out.
This blog is for those of us who want to grow — but gently. Who want to take care of ourselves without turning healing into another task on the to-do list.
I believe growth doesn’t always look loud or aesthetic.
- Sometimes it looks like helping yourself feel safe again.
- Sometimes it looks like rest.
- Sometimes it looks like choosing yourself quietly.
You’re in the right place if you’re learning how to slow down, trust yourself, and build a life that actually feels like yours.
Why I Started This Blog
Flawsome Felishia began in 2015, during a phase of my life when I was still figuring out who I was and where I belonged. Back then, I was exploring everything — writing, beauty, lifestyle, weddings, stories, reviews. I was learning through doing.
Over the years, I realised something important:
I wasn’t just writing content. I was writing through my own growth.
Through burnout, self-doubt, emotional overwhelm, and quiet self-reflection, my writing slowly shifted. I started caring less about trends and more about truth. Less about perfection, more about self-respect.
This blog grew with me.
Today, Flawsome Felishia is no longer about doing more.
It’s about living with intention — and becoming someone you can trust.
What “Flawsome” Means to Me
The word Flawsome comes from flawed + awesome.
For a long time, I believed my flaws were things I needed to fix or hide. Growth taught me otherwise. Self-acceptance taught me freedom.
Flawsome Felishia exists to remind you that:
- you don’t need to be perfect to be worthy
- growth doesn’t require punishment
- your softness is not a weakness
You are allowed to be a work in progress and still be proud of who you are.

A Little About Me
I’m a full-time teacher based in Mumbai, India, and writing has always been my way of making sense of the world. I’m drawn to quiet mornings, reflective journaling, meaningful conversations, skincare as care (not pressure), and stories that stay with you long after you’ve read them.
This blog is lovingly run by me, with occasional contributions from my sister Fiona, who has been part of this journey behind the scenes for years.
